From what I've heard, the alloy covers can be noisy at high speeds. but maybe weathertech has solved that issue? would be interested to hear from someone who's actually used it.
I think the clearance issue makes sense, but it seems like a big oversight for off-roading. Wonder if Ford has any plans to address this in future models? Probably not, but we can hope.
It's a bit disappointing to see these issues on such an expensive truck. I love my Ranger Raptor, but I expected better quality control from Ford. Hopefully they'll address these problems in future production runs.
That Sound Good Stereo Kicker LOC sounds like a game-changer. I've always been hesitant to upgrade because of the tuning hassle. Might have to look into this setup now. Thanks for sharing your experience!
The lack of comparison between the 2.7 and 3.0 is disappointing. I've heard good things about the 2.7 in other Fords, but it'd be nice to see how it stacks up in the Ranger specifically.
