I think anything that increases the thickness of the charging mat is a mistake.

one If the problems with the existing mat is there is no cutout fir the camera bump so phones don’t lie flat

so if the cutout was added

and a MagSafe or qr2 magnet to align the phone Properly it might be a better product.

I would want to test that and I think I will.

I think the mat would be more for people that don't use the charging pad and the rubber would keep stuff from sliding.

I know I don't use mine. I keep my pocket calendar/sunglasses in the phone slot and glasses cleaning stuff in the little cubby.
