Does anyone actually have a Ford document regarding this, and/or a program number? Seems odd that the documentation behind this is lacking, if it actually exists.

During my Maverick purchasing odyssey, Ford continually updated expiration dates on offers to compensate for delays. I would expect same thing here until proven otherwise. This $1000 offer is worthless if the truck isn't built by probably mid August. It will not be to the dealer in time to use. Now that they delayed production start until mid August nobody will probably have a chance on cashing this in.
I'm pretty convinced we've all been snookered.Has anyone actually seen a dealer confirm this?
When I asked my dealer he said he doesn't see a pre-order rebate?
Cam, I think that is a "customer loyalty discount." BE SURE to bring it up and get it added to the sales contract. They usually seem to "accidentally" forget to apply it otherwise!I just confirmed with my dealer today that I had a coupon for 1250 off. Not sure if this is the same thing or not.
I printed out the rebate from this forum and gave it to my salesman. They said they would honor it, but did not see it listed officially while we were doing the build. At that time, the bulletin had just come out the day before. I was told if they found out it was not applicable they would call me, I have not heard from them that it was not. People are correct though, if you have to TAKE DELIVERY by October 2nd (or whatever it is) How in the hell is anybody suppose to get the discount. I sure hope Ford changes the wording to simply "ordered by July 5th" as someone else suggested. To say the least, these dealerships and Ford do not communicate very wellHas anyone actually seen a dealer confirm this?

Same question... my dealer is asking me to provide them with a copy of the certificate as they have not heard of this. Is there a certificate number? Can anyone help? Sure would love to save $1000!What did you print out?

Be cautious, they had the same sort of program for the 2019 only it was $750.https://www.carsdirect.com/deals-articles/2024-ford-ranger-has-a-1-000-preorder-discount
2024 Ford Ranger Has A $1,000 Preorder Discount

Ford is offering a big preorder discount on the all-new Ranger pickup. According to a bulletin sent to dealers this week, the 2024 Ford Ranger features a $1,000 custom-order incentive. However, our analysis found that there may be some important limitations worth knowing about with Ford's 2024 Ranger order discount.
The national 2024 Ford Ranger order discount began on June 13th and offers $1,000 in savings that you wouldn't be able to get buying the redesigned truck off of a dealer's lot. Although the Ford Retail Order Bonus Customer Cash Certificate program ends on October 2nd, you'll need to place your order by July 5th.
As written in my post, I'm not even sure it's an actual Ford incentive. Nobody can find this "incentive", except what somebody found from this one source on Cars Direct and posted it. The question is, is this actually a factual incentive or a mistake by Cars Direct.Be cautious, they had the same sort of program for the 2019 only it was $750.
I had the paper work in writing and approved, when the truck was delivered, Ford decided to renege. I also know of other buyers who suffered the same fate.
Fortunately, I had a signed contract with a handwritten and signed "balance due at delivery" statement at the bottom. I don't know whether the dealer ever got Ford to pay up or not, but I paid the agreed balance and took the truck.
I spoke to 3 dealers in my area, one said they knew nothing about it, the second didn't want to sell at invoice or discuss the discount, the third said, yep, I see the discount in the system and will sell it for invoice minus the $1000.As written in my post, I'm not even sure it's an actual Ford incentive. Thank you for looking into this! I like the third answer the best! This gives us some ammo when negotiating the price!I spoke to 3 dealers in my area, one said they knew nothing about it, the second didn't want to sell at invoice or discuss the discount, the third said, yep, I see the discount in the system and will sell it for invoice minus the $1000.
So, I think it's real, as my dealer put it on my build sheet.
