1 Per Dealer?

I kept reading that every dealer gets 1 Ranger Raptor, so I ordered mine in December and it was the 2nd one that was ordered through my dealership. I wasn’t in a hurry to get one, so I didn’t mind and I went with this dealer because I managed to talk them into selling it to me for MSRP. I got the email this morning that it is scheduled for production on March 18th.
I just wanted to share since every dealer I talked to kept saying that they will sell me their 1 allocated Ranger Raptor for anywhere from $10k-$20k over msrp and told me that it would be at least a year if I went with a dealership that has already ordered one.
I could be wrong, and maybe I just got lucky, but this seems like a pretty convenient tactic to get people to pay over msrp, and they may not be telling the truth.

I got the Cactus Gray. I also didn’t get any options. I remember following along with the Ford Maverick release, and a lot of people were saying that their truck was delayed for months because they added a spray in bedliner from the factory. I don’t want to risk it so I’ll take care of all of that after delivery.

Fellow March 18 build date also. Got the email this morning. I was number 2 at my dealer also. Cactus gray with bedliner

Ya, I don't want a factory bed liner. Maybe Ford has better ones, but the GM ones fade pretty bad. And for $100 more I got a Line-X with UV something-or-other, (probably cancerous) and it still has a fantastic gloss black shine 8 years later. Plus a lifetime warranty.

My dealer said he was worried that the spray in bedliner would delay my order and tried to convince me to get a Rhino Liner. Didnt really know much but said I wanted to stick with the spray in. My order is getting build March 25. So if it got delayed a week for the bedliner, Im ok with that.
