180F Thermostat

Has anyone put a 180 degree thermostat from SPD in their RR? If so what are you coolant temps at idle, highway, and low speed cruising in town? I have one in mine as im getting custom tuned at the moment and wanted to verify temps seem accurate.

Outside ambient: 48F
Idle: 200
Interstate: 190F-200F...seems to be towards the lower side when getting on it but higher side when cruising at 60-70mph.
Town: 190-198 30 at 45mph

I assume you let your tuner know you installed the 180 TStat?
You can set your fans at variable speeds.
So you could have them kick on at the 3 spots you mentioned.
Increasing speed as it gets closer to the next temp that you predetermined.

sounds like its still at factory settings

I did tell my tuner but im not sure how to verify the changes as to me it still seems to be operating as stock, like you mentioned.
