I followed the instructions on how to disable the seat belt chimes on page 57 and after several attempts gave up. Any help or hints as to what I may be doing wrong?

I see a common issue may be the middle rear seat erroneously thinking it is occupied with a passenger in a rear end seat. Is this something that goes back to the dealer?

I have same problem with the middle rear seat barking at seat belt when nobody is there. I plan to disable this in ForScan. Some people are turning off all the seatbelt minders, but I think i'm going to try just the middle rear seat, which is this one:

IPC720Seatbelt Configuration - Row 2 Col 3Fixed Seat present with Belt Monitor720-13-02xxxx*x--All

Setting that to "seat not present" should remove the warning. I plan to try it some time this weekend.

If you don't have ForScan, I don't know of any other way to do this.
