Hello all. New member and first post. I bought a new 2025 Ranger XLT at the very end of 2025 and am reviewing many threads on this site. I am looking for the folding rear headrests in black cloth. After reading through this thread I came up with this part # MB3Z21611A08CC, but the Lakeland Ford website indicates that this unit does not fit a 2025 Ranger XLT. Is the website incorrect? If not, can someone supply the correct part number.

Thank you in advance and I am learning so much about my new Ranger. I previously had a 2012 Jeep, so a lot to catch up on!

They are going ti say it wont fit because its for a different year truck since our headrests are fixed, you have to buy the 5th gen headrest, that pn you have, to get folders

Welcome to the group! I have attached a picture of the part #’s of the ones I received yesterday.
Lakeland wants you to put in your VIN # and then says those parts won’t fit. If you do it w/o the VIN it will let you order them.

The 2015-2017 F150 (maybe even later models) have folding rear head rests that fit as well. You can get them in cloth or leather. I just put black cloth headrests in my 2025 XLT and love them. Check eBay.

Nice to know! I too have an XLT. I really want new front seat headrests. I despise our OEM ones.

Did you have to do any modifications to make them work on your 24 Lariat?? When ordering it tells you they don't fit.


A few days ago, I saw a thread about rear seat folding headrest options from the 5G and Bronco models and decided to go with the 5G folding option. It is an exact match to my leather trim and stands about 3/4in taller than the original. The 90° fold works perfectly to allow the backrest to fold flat without hitting the front seats. Better than that, they are on sale and there is an additional discount on top of that. My total cost was $111.26 with two-day free shipping.
