My tuned 24 RR did a great job on this trip. At one point, I maxed it out at 107, it won't go any faster. Truck was super comfortable all the way. I averaged right at 20 mpg.

Trip started in Scranton PA, I rolled down to Harrisonburg VA, continued down to Durham NC, then kept going south to Beaufort SC, then to Hilton Head. Headed hard east to Rome GA. Then came back through Jasper GA. Started north to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge TN. Kept north to Asheville NC. Then back up to Harrisonburg. Finally back to Scranton PA.

My odometer turned over 17000 miles by the end of the trip.
If anybody is curious, these trucks do an excellent job on big road trips. I winded through a lot of mountains and cruised a lot of highway effortlessly.
It was a hoot and I can't wait to do it again.

Great to hear!!
I’m in the middle of the whole summer living out west, commuting to Denver over mountain passes, dirt forest road exploration and atleast 2 fully loaded 1000+ mile days.

My Lariat is doing very well! Just clicked over 7000miles (lifetime, not just THIS trip) The 2.3’s showing an average MPG of 21.5 since I left home (2000 miles or so ago) and same hoot and a half “baja-ing” dirt roads around the Colorado Rockies!
