Will these tires work on the 24 Ranger lariat with 2.5" leveling kit?

They should fit but may require minor trimming. I inquired about fitting 285/70/17 on my 24 ranger with 2.5 inch level to a local shop and this was their response. Why 65 for the aspect ratio?
