This video was just released three weeks earlier, I am glad I found it.
Ford Ranger Raptor - How to Install TigerTough Seat Covers
I had a lot of trouble with the first seat, the second one went a lot faster. Keep in mind the video guy does these all day long! He removes the yellow wire connectors with a simple tug, I was unable to do that because I have poor finger strength. I used this trim panel tool:
Make sure to insert it between the black flared washer head and the white mounting bracket, NOT between the yellow connector and the mount. These pictures show the passenger seat cover which I did first.
The String Locks are cool - it makes it very easy to cinch down the strings very tightly. At about the 7 minute mark he shows them. On my truck I made sure to route the outer string OVER the yellow wire connector, otherwise it was chafing hard on the wires.
It was really tough to get the velcro straps tight. It helps to get them started, then go back and gradually tighten the others repeatedly until they are as tight as possible. Again I have poor grip strength. This shows the straps for the top part.
I have not yet driven with them installed. I expect the straps and strings to loosen and need some adjustment after a while.
Also. these are my Drop Stops, which are available on Amazon. They keep stuff from getting lost down the big cracks between seats and console..
