Once i looked at the videos again the more weight baring rack with 5 mounting holes for 5g Prinus
drills 3 extra holes for more strength.

Both 5G and 6g have identical 2 holes under plastic strip.

I may order the Trailrax. Its on sale to Dec 1.
Myself i would only be using the rack for tying down a SUP and since the bed may not hold enough gear for camping I would tie a storage bag to the roof.

Just wished to show that when the rack is only mounted on each side with 2 bolts the weight capacity is reduced. A RTT may work if the rack supported 600 lbs. You would normally put a RTT on a stronger rack above the bed.

Prinus does not have any plans to make a modular rack for the 6G

I researched the Slim Line II rack. Looks like a solid design as it use a full length bracket instead of 2 small brackets like the Trailrax.

I could not find a load capacity on the Slim line. Just talks about looking at your owners manual for capacity

Slim line assembly sheet.
