Anyone order the SCORCHER GT Power Module from afe?

Did you give any consideration to the JB4 with CANbus integration? Seems like a safer more sophisticated piggyback unit than the Scorcher. Being a BMW M3 owner you are likely to be more familiar with Burger Motorsports than I am.New to 6G community. Just took delivery RR last weekend.
Ordered the GT module yesterday. Odd not many posts for the RR especially compared w/ FP flash tune..

Going to look into itDid you give any consideration to the JB4 with CANbus integration? Seems like a safer more sophisticated piggyback unit than the Scorcher. Being a BMW M3 owner you are likely to be more familiar with Burger Motorsports than I am.
If I were to consider a piggyback system, I would go with JB4.
You can switch on the fly with jb4. Bluetooth or hardwired. At the end of the day I’m going with Afe. Customer service alone sold me. Plus it comes preset out of the dyno. Jb4 you can mess with the rpm and shift ranges. But that’s on you not to blow your motor. Plus once it’s dialed in I won’t be touching itAfter much probing/research preferred aFe GT module compared with BurgerTuning JB4 ...both 'piggyback' tune solutions.
One factor in choosing, aFe offers map selections capable of 'on-the-fly' selections vs bluetooth connectivity/smartphone requirement to change.
At the end of all, paying for Performance and compatibility...let's see how it goes.
More horsepower. And not really a fan of having that screen suction cup to my window. Why the Scorcher versus going FP?
Correct. But if you wanted to change the map settings, you would have to have it plugged in. AFE gives you three different settings. You don't need to leave the FP plugged in. You just install it and unplug it.
One doesn't change the map settings with the FP tune. Only reason people install in the cab long term is for additional gauges/logging capabilities.Correct. But if you wanted to change the map settings, you would have to have it plugged in. AFE gives you three different settings.
Map settings/guages/logging/rpm/throttle response all falls under the same category. One doesn't change the map settings with the FP tune. Only reason people install in the cab long term is for additional gauges/logging capabilities.
Also FP tune alters the transmission module which the scorcher piggyback is incapable of, and having the FP tune myself, the updates to the transmission shift points in various drive modes made a massive improvement over stock.
That's what normal / sport / baja etc is for...Map settings/guages/logging/rpm/throttle response all falls under the same category.
Afe 3 different map settings changes the turbo boost which i like for daily driving.
If your looking for something a little more advanced (that you know what your doing without blowing your motor) look into the Jb4
Of course. That’s why I’m going with a Afe. All of that is dyno tested as is fp is. Only difference is I will have 3 different settings on top of normal sport BajaThat's what normal / sport / baja etc is for...
You don't want much improved shifting and improved MPG for daily driving?
