How bad the collars hurt the performance?I definitely wouldn't swap out the factory Live Valve shocks, they're a big part of what makes the Raptor perform the way it does. @GregFoutz has some collars available for some additional height in the front.

Without sending the shocks out to be rebuilt, you will loose a lot of performance from the shocks with a collar lift like the ones mentioned above. How bad the collars hurt the performance?
I wish, I waited for a year for the FOX race spec 3.0 LV for my GEN3.Without sending the shocks out to be rebuilt, you will loose a lot of performance from the shocks with a collar lift like the ones mentioned above.
*note* that is info directly from Fox! Not an opinion of mine or a claim from a company trying to sell you something!
Fox did tell me that they are working on a 3.0 live valve kit for the Ranger Raptor that would have adjustable spring perches and allow for 1-2” of lift and be plug and play with the factory live valve system. They said they would hopefully be releasing that next year.
Maybe check again?I wish, I waited for a year for the FOX race spec 3.0 LV for my GEN3.
The same information was given to couple of Gen3 owner, up tp date these shocks did not see the light and I ended up going with a set of Gen2 FOX race spec 3.0 LV and I love them.
I hope they really produce the RR shocks.
I'd love to see some proof of this claim. I don't believe Fox has brought that product to the market, unless you're talking about the Gen 2 FRS shocks that can bolt onto the Gen 3.Maybe check again?

Yes a collar lift negatively impacts the shock performance as I stated above.Does anyone have an experience with the RPG or another brand Collar. I just saw a Raptor R with that lift. he did a 1.5 setting it. Does it impact the performance of the ride? If we increase the height be 1.5 inches, can we put 35's on it?
I’ve put RPG and Foutz collars on my Bronco Wildtrak and Bronco Raptor. It’s a bit stiffer but you lose the brake dive that these trucks have stock. I’ve had the 2.25. 2.5, and 3.0 collars. I’ve off-roaded with them and jumped with them as well. Do they impact the shock as fox built them… sure, but 95% of folks will never notice unless you are a very extreme off-roader. Use the smallest spacer that gets you what your looking for.Does anyone have an experience with the RPG or another brand Collar. I just saw a Raptor R with that lift. he did a 1.5 setting it. Don’t want to argue your points they are valid, but I will say that I contacted Fox about my Bronco sagging in the rear due to my gear and they strait up told me to add a RPG collar to get my height back.Yes a collar lift negatively impacts the shock performance as I stated above.
The correct way to do it would be to send your shocks into Fox for a service (roughly $175 per) and have the internal valving reconfigured for the amount of lift you are adding.
This is info directly from the manufacture…
