As the title suggests, I started the vehicle to find that only the A pillar tweeters were functional.

Restarting the vehicle corrected the issue.

It's a strange failure. Given the various computer issues I've had, as well as the fact that just turning it off and on again corrected the fault, I'm tempted to just call it a bug; but that's quite an odd bug to come out of a computer. What's handling crossover duties in this vehicle, anyway? Is it just all digital?

I'll be scheduling an appointment with the dealership, just for good measure and documentation of the fault, but I don't expect they'll be able to find anything.

Has anyone else experienced similar issues?

Tweeters are run off the head unit module itself. The rest is a fault either in the amp behind the seat or the wiring to it. Might be a loose connection. Easy enough to check by lowering the rear seat back.

That's exactly what I needed to know. What an odd setup.

I was thinking it had to be an amp or crossover, but remembering all the computer issues had me wondering.

Nice to know there's at least something in this system that makes a little sense. 🤣

I'll have a look, myself, before taking it to the dealer. If it's set up like that, it's an easy check.

I'll still get it on record with Ford, just in case something pops or it happens again, in the future.

I'm seeing a similar, recurring problem. I've found that if I change the source from Radio or SiriusXM to my phone, etc, and back, it corrects the issue.

I'm noot sure of the root cause, but for now, it's a minor annoyance in an otherwise stellar vehicle.
