It looks good. But the Bakflip and most other US based covers can partially fold/roll AND hold 400lbs., for half the price. I'm sure someone out there would prefer this type, but there's not $1500 in added value for me.

Kinda over the typical folding tonneau covers though...:)
I read too much online about their questionable security, water getting etc
Too many moving parts, more stuff to go wrong.

I carry too much expensive stuff underneath to justify them

IK it's more expensive but I'd rather pay more for something that's built to take a beating than replace another cheap cover down the road.

Has anyone seen these irl?

anyone seen these covers before? they look pretty dope.

Love how you can haul gear on top, but still keep kit secure underneath.
440lb rated!
Here’s another one that is similar to the DiamondBack where you can put a lot of weight on top. It is the Peragon Tectonic.

If you are comfortable with spending big bucks for the security aspect you should probably research both of them.

Not really.
The tailgate will not pry open any easier than the doors. Try it on your truck - be sure to post the video. I'd be happy to be proven wrong... :like:

I don't have a video of it but seen the end result of my crew doing it for training(firefighter's). It wasn't pretty but they got it open. They have a few more specialized tool than your normal theft though.

why not just smash the window and hit the unlock button in the cab? You dont need a crowbar for that and its much quicker

No they are not but struggling with metal tailgate is loud, time consuming, and higher effort. Thieves like easy, quick, and quiet....the smarter ones, the ones that dont get caught or shot

I've owned 6 classic convertibles. Never locked them.
I'd rather a thief not cut the top to get in, there's nothing to steal anyway unless they're after a 60s AM radio...

I never took mine to areas like that, but yes I agree. Ive had to use the Shoe Goo convertible top repair trick once. It looked passable at a distance, but I always knew it was there.
