Any issues with the tail gate opening? I saw where someone did this and it was too high and the tail gate hit it when open
Not really sure what you're talking about. This kit has a template that puts the plug in the exact right spot. Zero issues with tailgates. Please let me know if you have any other questions. Thanks!

Not really sure what you're talking about. This kit has a template that puts the plug in the exact right spot. Zero issues with tailgates. Please let me know if you have any other questions. Thanks!
someone put it too high and when they opened the tailgate it hit the caps on the plugs. It might have been a DIY thing though. Your kit looks pretty good though and i havent seen any comments about it

Curious if anyone has their old bracket lying around. I have a new bumper on order and not sure what to do with the trailer plug. I haven’t towed anything yet so thinking I either just tuck the trailer plug away somewhere or look to weld back in the original bracket at some point.

How is that even possible? You'd have to screw up pretty epic to hit the trailer plug on the tailgate.

Does the replacement not include the stock bracket? Can you just install the AAL one? Not sure exactly what you're after. The stock bracket has to be cut off so it wouldn't be useful for re-use.
