Speaking of dealers and financing, this week, I had a deal in place for a Ranger Raptor at a dealership in Topeka. They were actually going to charge me $1,000 for NOT financing with them. They also had a mandatory (which they would not waive) $1,300.00 extended warranty covering one year of tire road hazard and windshield replacement. Also, a $700.00 doc fee. I declined those as well as the truck. I guess I will continue to wait for mine to be built.
Do you have a build date yet?

Not yet. I ordered it April 16th. Haven’t heard anything. Called Ford yesterday and they said it was still in the “order process”. I found a local dealer who has one at MSRP that is built and getting ready to ship. They said it’s mine if I want it. There are a few raptors sitting on lots around town, but are all 5k-10k above MSRP.

I would check what your priority code the dealer gave you and confirm they had an allocation. I paid 5k over for mine which to be honest is nothing. 10k i would agree is wayyyyy to much to over to pay considering they are readily available for MSRP or 5k over in LOTS of dealers.

Look out of state as well, a lot of dealers will work with you and its a pretty easy process as well. If the one the dealer has at MSRP is what you want, then do it. If its not exactly what you want, id just wait.

I waited mine out and I couldnt be happier as its exactly what I wanted. I know there arent many options to be had on these, but I wanted it to be exactly what I wanted. Thats the whole point of ordering a car.
