I considered options such as these. But I really didn’t have immediate plans to purchase anything that would put weight on the sides of the truck bed so I waited for the Ford Jbrace to become available. I actually bought my braces off another forum member and installed them about a month ago.
The two options you show in your post look like they would work fine. If I was in a hurry to install them, I’d probably get a set - If I could wait for the Ford braces, I’d wait.

The egr braces are solid. I recommend them.

Agree with @greaserman i have a set of those too and they’re real solid. Haven’t bent anything going off-road with bed rack, roof tent, 36L water tank and a big awning plus camping stuff.
