This may be normal behavior, but I've only noticed it yesterday. When I get in my truck and depress the brake pedal and before I've pressed the start/stop button, I hear quite a loud click coming from down under the dashboard. I have no idea what it is. Anyone else have this?

Hey there! Can you please send me a PM with your VIN and dealer name/location so I can look into this clicking sound for you? To send a private message, just click on our username and select "Start Conversation". I'd be happy to see what I can do to assist!

Just bumping this up to see if anyone can check their RRs for the same issue?

I did some more testing today and when I first get in and depress the brake pedal, I hear a hum and then a click like something is engaging. If I then release the brake pedal and press it again, there's no click. If I let the truck sit for a few minutes the click happens again. It's definitely coming from up under the dashboard.

Thanks!

I have a similar issue. When the brake pedal is depressed (regardless of car on/off), there is a clicking sound coming from around the brake pedal, seemingly in the dash. I just got back from my service center today, where the problem was diagnosed as a fitment issue in the brake pedal area, and they have ordered a replacement part for it.

As this issue already appeared 2 days after we got the car, the diagnosis aligns with my suspicion that it is most likely a fitment problem, rather than a more critical one. We will have to monitor if the problem is resolved after replacing the suspected cause, and I will update the progress accordingly in this thread.

So after a few months, I was able to find a dealer that had a RR on their lot.

Drove there today and can confirm that the *click* happens on their RR too. At least I know now that I'm not the only one.
