I was driving my ‘24 RRaptor at 35mph when the AEB system applied without anything in front of me. Luckily no one was behind me when it did this. Not sure why this happened and the Ford tech said this is the first time he’s heard of it.
It didn’t bring me to a full stop, but it applied the brakes for about a second or two.

Has anyone else had this happen?

Mine did this when I was using adaptive cruise control and the front sensor had its "front sensor blocked" error. It slammed on the breaks doing 80 to cut the cruise control and then it fully disabled ACC due to the sensor issue. And that's with them disabled in settings. Late 2024 model.
