Canopy central locking - hot signal when truck is open

Some time ago I installed Alu-Cab Contour canopy and I found it annoying for locking/unlocking it every time with key.
I bought central locking set like this but the way it works is also not suitable - only 6 sec for opening locks after activation.

There is an input where if I put 12V it can give additional 6 sec.
My idea is to add hidden button/s (like in factory/ARB canopy) but I'd like to have it work only when the truck is opened.

Best to have +12V but any signal is good (can be played with relays or something).

...or can You please suggest Can-Bus sniffer where I can get it as well.

I know there are projects where Arduino or RaspberryPI is used but I have no time to spend for development...

Any help would be appreciated

I believe I have found alternative way using latching relay and trunk lid lock.
