Has anyone considered what happens with their truck when it gets a dent or ding or scratches when it reaches the rail yard before the transit delivers to the dealer? That’s the only thing I can think that’s happened to my RR. It was shipped on 4-19-24 by rail, and arrived at the Reisor rail yard on 5-31-24. Ford chat states that it is there! I think it has damage and is waiting to be repaired. I don’t Ford is going to tell the dealer or anyone else, why would they. Anyone else have their truck sitting in the rail yard for over a month? Look at the estimated date that was sent to me 12-26-1969😀 Someone has a sense of humor!

It does happen I had a GT350 damaged at the railyard and it end up seating at dealer that fixes the railyard damaged vehiclesfor over a month. My selling Dealer said I could go look at and decide if i want it. I turned it down because of the work on it looked sub par. My dealer was up front with me about the damage because I been a long time customer with them. So look it over before taking delievry. I would ask questions because they do not have to report it as damaged if it is repaired before reaching the dealer.

My RR and another were delivered to my dealer via truck transport with damage. My RR had chipped paint on the door as if someone opened the door into an obstruction. The other RR had a scratched wheel (rim) like someone hit a curb or the rails on the transport. The dealer noted the damage when the cars came off the transport. The dealer fixed the damage. The delivery company was billed. The salesman said it happens all the time so they diligently screen each vehicle after they're off the transport truck before they accept them.
