driving on unloaded HD front springs

I'm looking to upgrade suspension with dobinson MRR, but then came across an issue that requires some foresight and input from people more experienced than me. I'm new at all this.

I want to add a front bumper/winch which needs HD coilover springs, but I can't find any bumpers made for the 2025 Ranger. Local shop said an Expedition One rep offered to build one on my truck, waiting on a quote on that. ADD said they'd have something ready in 12 months.

In case I decide to wait, my question is.. would the truck be horrible to drive on and off road with HD front springs unloaded? Would it be worth to load it up w/ sandbags or whatever like I read? Is that a safe thing to do for a year?
