F-150 LED Ranger Raptor Grill Kit???

I read quite a few comments and installation stories here. I do not understand what the exitement is about that 'new' 'improved' kit.
I am returning the grill kit back to them, as it does not fit at all. It sticks out from the 3 holes on the Raptor, especially the outer ones, despite their claim it does not.

When talking to customer service, they tell me to watch a movie I already did, that shows other units being installed, or rather another grill.

They would not refund the purchase, but only give me credit with a company I do not want to do business with anymore.

Sorry, this is not a good vendor and these are not people I want to buy accessories from... Look elsewhere..

yea i had to open a complaint with the FTC before they sent me a refund on the original version a while ago. I have been experimenting with different options while i wait for SPV to get theirs out. So far I have signature lux (really nice), also have tried some Rectangular LED Boat Accent Light, which i am currently running:

You are totally correct - I can see now I paid much less. No idea why I was sent this rather than the one fitting my RR?

I would contact them and let them know yuu ordered the wrong ones, they have been really good to work with over the years.

I agree, they have always been good to work with for me as well.
I am sure they can help get this sorted out and get you the correct ones.

I can see how someone might see that Raptor style verbiage shown on the website for the ones he bought and mistake that to mean they fit the Raptor.
When what they are really saying is this kit is for the non Raptor, in order to give a non-raptor a Raptor style look.

I suspect it could be as simple as there is some updating needed in their support files and website info to direct their customer support team to their other new perfect fit version.

Keeping in mind that up until the new perfect fit kits came available which was only last month.

They were selling that other kit, the one you bought, which is the same one I bought back in 2024.
With that cheaper more generic fit kit, it was left up to the person installing it to get a bit creative to make them fit on a Ranger Raptor, much like how I did with my 24 model last year.

I do have a new perfect fit kit on order for my 2024 model now, I will changing it out soon.

Many of us forum member went to F150Led and had expressed a strong desire for a perfect version to be created.

I know myself and several others here also expressed the fact we were willing to pay more for custom perfect fit version should they be willing to design one for us.

FF several months F150Led bought a Ranger Raptor and started developing perfect fitting products like the grill marker lights and it was finally released last month.

Up until then that cheaper generic fit version was all they had to offer. I suspect some of their customer support info and website data may still be showing something about those being able to be fit onto a RR, based on the prior situation.

Which many of us made those work, at least for the time being, some of us got upset and returned them, and waited for the perfect fit version, or bought some other brand like the cheap ebay China lights that I had started out with, those did fit better, but the lights themselves were really cheap.

The perfect fit version F150Led has now, is really the best one I have seen out there, with the most OEM fit. Yes, it does still have a little too much wire with them, but better to have a bit too much wire then not enough. lol

It was really easy to coil that extra wire up and zip tie it under the under-hood cladding where no one would ever see it.

I think they do that in part because there are multiple ways guys want to wire them into their trucks. I only needed enough wire to reach the Aux hub, I setup mine to Aux switch 1, others might need that extra wire to tap into the driving lights etc etc.
