Running lights wiring (behind grill) 3 piece F-150 style

Hi Guys,

Anyone know how to wire a 3 piece amber daytime running light on my Ranger Raptor Next Gen?

Normally I come down there diving and I could wire it up for you but I going to Ecuador instead. Very easy to wire it up you just need to find the wire that is "live" when your engine is on. What did you wire all your other lights to.

That would be very cool, having an expert on the Island! ? You would have a lot of work! ?
The underglow I connected directly to the battery. So I can switch them on/off even if the car is not running.

The amber lights should go on and of automatically with the daytime running lights, so that's why I'm not sure which connection to use. Logically I would think to open the connection on the headlight unit and use a wire from there, but the electrical is pretty complex and I don't want to mess up.

So if someone has some experience with this and the next Gen Ranger Raptor, than some pics or video would be very helpful!

You have the Raptor does it not have the aux power switches. I would hook it up these as it takes the guess work out of everything.
Also your underglow lights I would hook those up to one of those too.
Hooking directly to the battery will cause problems. Most manufacturers recommend you don't hook anything directly to the battery, they will have some spare studs on the fuse box under the hood.

I've connected the hot wire to the "not used" 10 amp fuse and the cold to the battery -

Works perfectly, the 3 amber lights are on when the car is running. When the ignition is off they are off too.

The auxiliary I want to use later on when I will install the roof Led bar.

The underglow I turn on or off with a remote and/or my phone. So also when I'm outside the car.

This site has some great videos that show the process pretty clearly and the kits look to be good quality even if they could use a little larger gauge wire.
