That was kind of my thought. Seems laughable really.... Like... The ranger isn't anywhere close in sales but tacoma really felt like they needed to make this video and then skimp on details on the ranger side? Seems laughable.

The answer is 271 of (presumably) the 2024 ranger. The good news is they are able to product 5700 in a months time, so its feasible they could get through orders relatively quickly when they actually get around to them...

I don't think Ford is seriously competing. Other than the Ranger Raptor, every ranger is probably just a stepping stone to an F150. Toyota doesn't really bother to try competing with ford when it comes to full size, they just have it for some market share. Toyota isn't thinking someone is going...
