Fess Parker’s (Daniel Boon) Model T

So for those of us old enough to remember Fess, was born and went to college in Texas and thought I’d share. My best friend’s family owned the third oldest Ford Dealer in Texas (opened in 1913). His grandfather used to tell me stories about people trading in their wagons for Model Ts.

Anyway, here‘s a pic of Fess Trading in his Model T at their dealership. Years before he passed we found he owned a vineyard in California and sent him a letter with some pics to let him know we still had it. He wrote us back that he was thrilled and we should stop by if we were ever out in his neck of the woods.

super cool picture and info. my uncle an old ford with rumble seats and spoke looking wheels when i was a kid (1980s) and he used to take us for rides around the lake travis.
