If there is a modem then Ford will know what you're doing?

Yes, there'a LTE modem for the smart functions with the app Fordpass Pro, you can turn it on remotely, lock-unlock, fuel level, wheels pressure etc. and smart diaagnostic, so probably something like racechip or jb4 is probably safer warranty wise, we will see...
In the meantime I'm having lot of fun, sport mode is stunning, I can't imagine with 100+ more Hp :O

What milage You get?

hehe if I behave, with a little of fun here and there I got like 470Km with 60km left on a full tank, so like 14L/100Km I guess, If I measure only in the highway I can go down to 12L/100km, and is quite strange, I see reviewers in Australia that got 11.5 with the "unlocked" power, how about you?

i’m from Belgium and i too wan’t too unlock the eu ecu. Trying to go the Ford way. And asked if they would do it since everything is madefor 400 hp.

I know they probably won’t do it. But atleast i could try for warranty. They do told me it could be they make a power upgrade kit from Ford itself. I think this could happen if enough people ask this. I’m following this post and hope there will be a solution soon to unlock and hopefully keep warranty.

my fuel economy for know is 13 liter but its not broken in yet.

It would be cool but I doubt they will do that and "break" the emissions regulation, but... a baja mode "only for off road use" with the unlocked power would really make lots of people very happy.
What I would like to do is ask an original Ford non EU map so someone who can export/save it and get it flashed to our, maybe it will be less intrusive for a potential warranty problem, it will be still a Ford stock map after all.
And I am really pissed about having same or worst fuel economy than our non EU friends but with 110Hp less.

P.s.: I'm checking info online and it seems the boost of the non EU can go higher than 1 Bar, while our can barely go over 0.5, I guess is the same for you too (I use the big bar personalised gauge displayed under off road - my gauge menu)

True thats what i meant. Like the exhaust that can only be used “offroad” would be great. Our fuel is worse due the extra exhaust filter. But the emmisions should be better. Not that i care about that. Cars aren’t the problem but thats another topic.

Yeah, fuel economy isn't an issue, but having less Hp with 0 benefits is a matter of principle

Let me know with you give it a proper off road in baja, it's something really fun, the technology behind this car is absolutely nuts, I love it more every day!

If I have time tomorrow I'll put the gopro on a side and do some proper fast Baja mode fun on really rough track I have here nearby, maybe a small jump if there's no mountainbikers or horses around

For what I've seen, there are JB4 available, Racechip in development and some dyno chip tuners getting ready but it seems no EU Raptor have been tuned yet, not on the internet for sure

I just heard a rumor (so take it with a grain of salt) that Ford is thinking to offer a performance pack after sale with a ECU tuner unlocking the missing Hps, like they did with the US Ranger Ecoboost Rangers they have, a kit like this:

This would be with official Ford warranty.

But it is still a rumor and who knows if it will be done in Europe with the stupid laws we have, but at least there is a precedent that Ford Performance did this in the past.

Of course I will keep you posted if I hear something more.

Btw... it crossed my mind that we could do like a petition from EU Raptors owners to gather together and formally ask Ford do do something about it, what do you think? I try to prepare something about it, maybe if we raise our voices we might have a chance.

I hope the rumour comes true.
I hope a lot of people want this so we get this for free. (Update baja mode to full power) only offroad offcourse. but if you need voices i’m in for sure. Already contacted my dealer to make an official ticket to Ford. I won’t give up untill i have answers.
