Ford Ranger Raptor 6th EU unlock/chiptuning

Been following this thread for a while now so thought Id throw in my experience. I have the EU raptor. I fitted the DTUK tuning box about a year ago and just left it on MAP 1 (sport) and zero tweaking. It gave a very noticeable gain. I had to take it off the other week to get the truck serviced and my god it was night and day. Since then I've been playing around with it the last few days and have noticed some decent improvement upping the adjustment settings. I am guessing this truck responds well given how under boosted it is in the EU. I'm at Map 1 +2 and everything so far so good. Going to run it for a few more days and then go for +3 (maxing out the box). This will have to do until my warranty is up next year and I can splurge for the BPT 460HP ECU. Will try to take a better log of turbo pressure when messing around with the maps and report back, the DTUK app reports the true number but its very jittery and wont log, need to record the screen.

I sent an email to BPT and haven't received a response. I need to confirm if it works for my 288hp truck and if it's suitable for installation or if I need something additional... considering the type of fuel, atmospheric pressure, etc.

I also got the JB4 installed a month ago soon as I got the same EU Ranger Raptor delivered.

With some log checks by Terry at Burger M-sport we went up to map 3 all good…. But on the map 4 we stumbled into some oscillations and not stable boost levels. Now I’m trying to figure out what the problem can be that differs the EU from the Global version.

You mentioned a specific europe update? Please tell me more about how your experience (also map4 problems?) and how you manage to go smoothly in map 5, sounds amazing ?

Where did you get your hard cap for the truck bed? I have never seen one that looks like a perfect match. Very nice!

Hello guys,

I recently got a Raptor and like all of you would like to make use of it at its true potential. Unfortunately I haven’t been able to find someone here in Romania to modify the ECU so I wrote an email to BPT. I also called, but could not reach them.
Any advices on how to get in touch with them?
What about Herrod Performance? I read a reply here that they also are able to do it. Is it available for the EU version? And if so, can it be done remotely?

PS: to the guys who have already installed the upgrade from BPT. Is there any way to also keep the warranty? Has anyone went to the dealer for an inspection after?

For the EU Raptor owners..

They install a physical ECU under the hood that delivers about 100 ps and about 125 Nm extra.
Has anyone installed it?

Surely that’s just another tuning box with an overly optimistic set of target values? It’s priced like a replacement ecu but then it would be 400HP, same as Aus and Amer stock.

Could be.. but other than the aussie guys who don’t answer their mail or calls is there anyone who can modify the ECU for the EU version?

Hptuners now supports read and write of 2024+ Ranger Raptor MG1CS036 PCM without swapping out the PCM.

Hi all! I'm happy owner of a new Raptor. It runs great but im looking to unlock full potential of that new engine.
Tune it like outside of EU. Does anyone done it? I know they put GPF and tune down the engine. Next week I will
make some DYNO runs and try tune it with some powerbox to see how much that GPF is cutting down the power.
If someone done it already pls let me know

Ok guys. Im after ECU tuning and results are amazing 450Hp and 650Nm It's a different car now. Thx to hd-customs.pl finnaly my Raptor runs how it should from day 1 and even better. If your country tuners don't do Raptors, contact [email protected] they can help you. Take care guys

I also did it with Raomaps. They can also do it remotely. The mumbers are almost the same. And it is indeed a new car.

We did 446hp and 676nm on Vio’s car
we can do remotely everywhere also.
