I have a Uniden R8. This thing is great and I get very few false alarms. I only use it on highways and freeways.
I drive a lot on long trips to motorcycle and race car tracks. I can tell you that on every trip I am saved at least once. Just last month I was going about 85 or 90 and just before coming over a hill it went off. I slowed to 70 and boom, there was a cop radaring and he got the guy behind me who did not slow like I did.
