Go Rhino RB30 Running Boards..

I purchased these running boards for my 2025 Ford Ranger.... The problem with them is they stick out from the truck so far that I scrap the back of my legs when I step out of the truck. These running boards look just like the ones on the 2026 Ford Ranger Raptor... Has anyone out there have a solution for this? Thanks

I have the Go Rhino D6 running boards which are 6" wide.

It sounds like you are stepping over them instead of onto them. Not much you can do about that short of stepping onto them or getting different ones that are narrower, or have drop down steps.

Being tall as I am (6'3") I step over them a lot but I am able to just miss the running board. My wife has learned to step onto them. I am toying with the idea of removing them altogether, they don't serve much purpose for us except for rock chip protection.

I had the RB 20's on my other truck and always stepped on them but it was also way higher than my Ranger. I have the stock one's on my Ranger and step over them and just use them for banging crap on my boots in winter. Ranger not high enough to step on them.
