Has anyone mounted lights in FRONT of the OEM Ranger (non RR) Grill?

Has anyone done this on the non Raptor Ranger? How did you mount the brackets? Im thinking 2-4 lights below the horizontal veilance / emblem. I figure I'd need to cut out a portion of the grill for the brackets at least. Would love to see any examples of lights or a light bar.

Ive seen several examples of mounting behind the aftermarket "Raptor style" grill, but I'd prefer not to go that route. Seems like there are a few bracket options for this type of mount in Australia.

Yea. That’s a nice option that I hadn’t seen. Unfortunately it looks like it only fits on a honeycomb grill which isn’t the NA version (although I like that grill). Looks like it also mounts to the plastic grill (vs metal) which I don’t love. Nice option nonetheless and yes it’s similar to what I want to do.

There are behind grill options, these maintain the grill, so it looks clean, no holes...
They use the bumper mounts so should be universal... These are very popular in AUS...

I don’t love losing all that light to the grill and I haven’t found one (other than Stedi) where I’m familiar with the light manufacturer. I don’t think most of them are compatible with a wide range of lights. Is there one that you recommend that has a high quality light? Not my ideal but I’d consider it.

THIS. Hadn’t seen this but might need to find one of these. Even comes with a camera relocation. Love it.

A bit of a gamble that it fits on a NA truck and when the install video is 35 mins long that means it might take me 8 hours. Ha.

No worries mate, that's what we're all on here for!!
I'd bet money, not a lot, but a small sum that it'll work. It uses structural points rather than the bodywork.

As to quality lights, Stedi are Chinese made, but seem to be popular for some reason. UltraVision on the other hand are completely Australian Made and probably the best in Australia. I've run there stuff for years... I know people that work there, and I could see if they ship to you...?

My recommendation would be to run the stedi rally bar, and ultravision lights...

Reached out to Stedi and while they don't have these in the US they would ship one. Probably gets quite expensive, but Im definitely considering it. Would most likely use the Stedi mounts but Morimoto lights as thats what I'm running elsewhere.
