I had to adjust mine the day I got my truck home on 10/21, serves me right for assuming it’d come from the factory correct considering it’s a known issue

Did the hood fix shortly after this post was created, prior to that it would have to be slammed to latch. Last night driving home noticed the hood was creased near the plastic vents on the inside of the vent that angles towards the middle of the hood. It was difficult to capture on video to show but is clearly creased or dented.

The only logical explanation I came up with is possibly slamming the hood caused this issue. Does anyone else see a similar crease on their hood?

The truck is filthy but you should be able to see it in this video.

I agree with the sentiment's about letting Ford be responsible for fixing it, although the video helped me tremendously to decide that doing it myself rather than wasting who knows how much time on the Dealer merry go round, I got lucky and the first latch adjustment worked, the drivers bump stop needed a couple turns and now I can just press down and it clicks shut tight, 20 minutes well spent.
