I have a 24 Ranger XLT with +25 wheels. I've been running mud flaps, but I'm going to try the Husky RVL Flares and see whether the added coverage lets me get away without the flaps (will add them back if needed). Looking for anyone with experience with these fender flares, install, wiring, etc... There is another recent post that was helpful (and why I pulled the trigger on them), but any additional info would be great.

Additionally, I'm planning to relocate the parking sensors that are mounted onto my OEM wheel arch trim, onto the new flares. Looking for any advice for those who have relocated parking sensors. What size hole did you have to drill? did you move the existing sensor bracket, or add new ones? Any issues after relocation?

I odered two new retainer clips that I THINK are the correct part number (N1WZ-15K861-EKPTM / EJPTM) and was planning to drill into the new flares at the same location as the OEM mounting position, and add these new retainer clip / brackets into the new holes. The plan is to unplug the existing sensors, run the wires through the old holes, then clip them back into the new brackets (leaving the existing brackets in my OEM wheel arches). Im hoping that (A) there's some slack in the wiring to allow for this and (B) the existing wire plug will fit through the bracket.

Any and all tips are appreciated. Wish me luck. I'll post pics when Im done (hopefully in a week or so). Theres a small chance I get the flares painted which would delay all of this.

I want these flares for the same wheel setup. I saw a comment a while back where somebody had a body shop paint their fenders and set up the parking sensors. You'll probably need some calibration on the sensors with the wider stance.

I’ve been wondering the same about parking sensors. Emailed Husky, asked on the Project Questions section of their site, zero responses.

I think those are the best looking flares but held off due to the sensor question.

I’ve been thinking through it more and I’m questioning whether the parking sensors are going to fit behind the fender flares. I am waiting on some parts so I can’t really measure or mock it up yet but the parking sensors might need more space - at least the way I was thinking of setting them up. I hadn’t thought of the recalibration and figured since they are just proximity sensors it shouldn’t really matter as long as they are in approximately the same position.
