Being this is a pretty old thread, I am guessing the OP must have bought something other than a Ranger . First post was this thread and second and last post was going to go test drive both.
Still a good topic, my opinion is test Drive both, if you still can’t decide, I personally would favor the Raptor, if for no other reason then the Auto 4wd that’s not offered on any other Ranger .
But I am in the heartland where whenever we do get snow and ice it’s quite often patchy and auto 4x4 is really a nice feature to have in the winter.
Raptors of any flavor also tend to have a slight bit stronger residual value.
