Infotainment system reboot procedure?

Is there a sequence to reboot the infotainment system when it freezes while driving the vehicle? The whole system froze while using CarPlay… I searched and could not find any info online.

yes volume down and forward track hold together for a few seconds or so

While others have mentioned how to reboot it, disconnecting the battery will hard reboot it. Some errors can be cleared by the soft reboot.

CarPlay freezing alone can be rebooted by turning CarPlay off then on in iPhone Settings. This clears most issues. If this doesn't clear the fault, reboot the iPhone. If still an issue, reboot Sync as described. If you are really effed, dis / reconnect battery.

Mine is stuck on a black screen. The "Volume -" + "Next track" for 10sec trick did not work for me. Later today i'm going to unplug the battery.
