More to come..... need to smoke those amber side markers! I have 15% tint all the way around, 50% on the windshield. LED license plate bulbs. Need a leveling kit and bigger more aggressive tires. Also going to color match the Ford logos. Spray-in bed liner next week.

I finally picked up my Lariat 4X2 on April 6. The only reasons I ordered was 1) the $750 preorder rebate, and 2) I didn't want options that the dealer might have chosen. The only things I opted for was the 501A package, and a tow package. I have since had the bed sprayed, added tailgate and grill inserts (Charcoal Metallic) from TVD, and will eventually get running boards of some sort. I originally wanted Magnetic, but my wife didn't like it, and we both agreed on Ingot Silver. And I agree it was a great choice. So here's my Lariat.

In Australia they replaced ingot silver with Aluminium, a bit darker and I think a bit nicer.

I saw a picture in another thread where the letters on the tailgate were chrome. That looks good on the dark colors.

What I think would look good on the silver tailgate is black chrome letters, especially with the black package.

I have a Heads Up Display that connects to the ODBII port and whenever auto stop turns on it powers down and it resets when it gets power and beeps. Quite annoying over and over again. Because I absolutely never want it on I disabled it completely rather than always pushing the disable button.

Is this the only reason or did you not like the A-S when stock?
I couldn't tell when it came on or off, saw an emblem in the dash pop up then go out once the brake was off. Pretty smooth, actually un-noticeable compared to my son's BMW.

Yea. That was the only reason. We leave it on in my wife’s new Tiguan and the Ranger is just as good. Was pretty easy to get used to.
