Interesting article on the GM Hummer. Produces more emissions then a Sedan

I guess I was uneducated about an electric vehicle. Although the Hummer does have 1000 Hp. Maybe a fairer comparison is need to a similar Hp ICE motor

That is a useless comparison. Of course the Hummer is going to produce more emissions than a Bolt EV. That's like comparing our Rangers to an F350 and saying the F350 produces more emissions. Pretty obvious.
I agree; compare it to an ICE.

Well the article does compare it to a Malibu and the original Hummer.
Hummer EV: 341 grams
Bolt EV: 92 grams
Malibu: 320 grams (21 less than Hummer EV)
H1: 889 grams

That being said, until get serious about energy sources like nuclear, the following will still hold true for a while.
