I am curious what tire size anyone has fit to their RR without a perch / leveling kit. And if on different wheels other than OEM, what are the wheels offset? Thank you kindly.

Same here, curious if anyone has run 34s on the stock wheels and has some pics plus if there was any rubbing or need for a perch etc. also curious if anyone has run a 33 by 12.5 and has some pictures. I don’t like the way the tire sits but also not sure if I want to do the other upgrades needed for 35s

I am running a 34" tire on Bronco SAS rims. I do get a slight front crash bar rub on hard right turns, especially when in reveres is the most noticeable. I have been meaning to remove my crash bars just have not got around to it. Same sort of scenario with the Bronco's that Ford puts the SAS 35"-wheel tire combos on, only Ford removes or never installs the crash bars on SAS spec broncos.

I am thinking if I wanted to get rid of the rub and stick with my SAS wheels, I could do so by putting the stock 33" tires back on, or put the 34" tires on the stock OE offset rims.

More details and pics of my setup can be seen here.

Hi

I saw your post from November about running 34” tires on the Bronco SAS wheels. I was wondering—since a few months have passed—how has your off-road driving experience been?

Have you noticed any rubbing during articulation or off-road conditions, especially with the crash bars still installed?

Thanks in advance for any update!

Yes, they did rub the crash bars.
Mainly when cranked and backing up.

They were a good tire for all terrain including some mud, rain, rock, snow etc.

I changed them out to the Falken AT4W in the stock 285 size.
Which the Falken 285 is almost the same width as the 295s were only a slight bit shorter.
That solved the Rub and since the Falken tire I went to was P285 not a LT E, load 10 ply it is much lighter weight, and my fuel mileage came back up quite a bit.
From 13 mpg to now 15 mpg on average same mixed driving as before.

The 285 in the Falken is significantly wider than the 285 in the OE BFG.
Always best practice to study the mfg specs. For whatever reason I see this all the time,
where the width measurment in the tire size like 285 is noticably different from one tire brand and model to the next. The Falken AT3W the prior version is not much wider then the BFG, only the newer At4W had the width I was after.

Thanks a lot for the detailed reply! Really helpful—appreciate you sharing your experience.
