After a couple months with my 25 Ranger Raptor, and having read numerous threads on this site, I have settled in on bed storage systems. I got this idea from someone else on this site (I think), can’t locate the thread again to give credit.
The Packouts sit on a Milwaukee mounting plate which is bolted to a Ford bed mat. So they’re easily removable if I need the space. For that matter the bed mat can easily slide out if I need the whole unobstructed bed floor. BuiltRight molle passenger side panel secures my hitch, shovel, and anything else that needs to be secured. So far, it’s looking like a very workable system. Price wise, the Packout system is comparable to a typical truck bed tool box, and much more organized and easily removed. Thanks to all you contributors on this site. I‘ve gotten loads of valuable information here..
