My Raptor build update: estimated build date is second week of March with an estimate dealer delivery date of end of April

Just wanted to post that the dealership where I ordered my Ranger Raptor notified me today the estimated build date is for the second week of March with an estimate dealer delivery date of end of April. I hope this doesn’t change but I got more info from ford today then the best 5-6 months since I have been waiting. Fingers crossed nothing changes.

I just got notification from my dealer for a Velocity Blue Ranger Raptor that now has a build date of 2-19. This truck was ordered end of May on the first day you could order as a stock order. Negotiated an MSRP deal with no added dealer markup. At the end of June, I changed the order to retail and signed up for the text and email notifications pertaining to order progress. I got 2 emails from Ford, one last year and one about 2 weeks ago saying they are working on getting me scheduled. So I am thinking May build date. Just by chance I called my Ford dealer today and he tells me it is scheduled for February, nothing from Ford so maybe there are others out there with a build date but no notification from Ford. Dealer says I was scheduled back on 12-14!

It's all "the week of" not that specific date. My Raptor is schedule for the week of March 11th.
I also placed my order at the end of May 2023, and as a stock order. None of these "delays" have bothered me. I understand what's involved in switching over a production line and starting something new. It is what it is...looking forward to it just in time for Spring.

No offense to you and I'm happy for you, but as somebody who ordered in May and still doesn't have a build date, seeing this scenario over and over is really starting to bother me.

I wouldn’t be happy. Especially if I was a long time ford guy loyal to the brand (though companies don’t care). I just don’t understand why they wouldn’t knock out the early retail orders first makes no sense

That is pretty crappy. Hopefully yours gets scheduled next Thursday.
Maybe the regional rep felt he owed me a favor for making me wait 6 months for both my 2017 Raptor and 2020 Raptor.
When I ordered my 2011 FX4 I took delivery in 34 days.
