Thanks for the update! Great video, can I ask about the 90-130lb base weight? Does the mounting hardware effect that? If your able to share any more info on mounting I believe the OEM bed rail cap is removed but anything else removed prior to install? Thanks again!

The mounting hardware does not affect the base weight. The most significant impact on weight will be adding glass to the side panels, as each panel weighs 8-10lbs.

We will ship directly to residential addresses, and the installation will be straightforward, as the unit is fully assembled. You will have to remove the plastic bed rails and set the topper in place with our weatherstripping under the unit. There will be four brackets that line up with the topper and bolt directly into your factory tie-down point locations. We will provide wiring harnesses from Diode Dynamics with enough length to wire into the truck, however you see fit.

That is very helpful thanks. I think once I understand the functionality of the panel options I can determine what to go with. I have had to fabricate a replacement window for a legacy topper previously and had to use polycarbonate to do so. Security is a factor for me as I like glass but don't like that it's more fragile than polycarbonate or other materials..

We opted for automotive laminated glass for long-term durability. We had concerns about the longevity of polycarb, and it isn't easy to find US suppliers for incorporating slider windows into polycarb. Polycarb is definitely lighter, though.

After many years of breaching things in the military, there is not a topper in existence that can't be opened with a pry bar. Lockable panels are a deterrent but not entirely secure. If someone wants to break into your vehicle, they will unfortunately.
