There are better for less cost overall. While that may be true, it does not invalidate what I said.

It’s $1,900.Absolutely agree, there’s no appreciable whp gains and spending $2.7 K on an exhaust, is a bit pricey when the money can go elsewhere and provided whp gains.![]()
I like upgrading turbosWHP this, power for dollar that, what if I just want to spend some money to make some fuckin' noise.
And if you REALLY are into "whp for dollar" you better be waiting for some upgraded turbos to come out before you do ANYTHING else. Turbos, and an intercooler were what were needed for actual power in other 3.0l applications. Without a tune you will see 0 benefit anyways, so you are in ~1500 to start for ZFG stage 0.
My man. Interested to see how they spool. Are you going to be running stock cats or are you going catless?I like upgrading turbos

Who cares, your spending over $2K for an exhaust alone, which does nothing as a performance adder. It’s $1,900.
people are paying $900 for exhaust tips.
What’s the cost of the 2.5” full catback exhaust from ford with active valves? A 3” exhaust vs a 2.5” when tuned will add horsepower. Maybe not 100, but 10-15rwhp, every little bit counts & adds up. A Rolex & a timex both tell time, some people will pay for quality some won’t.
There’s a well known exhaust company making a set of downpipes with very high flowing cats that we will be installing in a couple weeks. My man. Interested to see how they spool. Are you going to be running stock cats or are you going catless?
Im still trying to figure out what type of weird insult you are applying to any posts here with the thumbs up murica flag. Regardless, 2k+ for an exhaust is not abnormal in most tuning circles. The only "quality" thing about an exhaust is how well its assembled. These company's arent inventing tubes, and the the exhaust note and diameter are dealers choice depending on application.Who cares, your spending over $2K for an exhaust alone, which does nothing as a performance adder.
Show me the Dyno! Seat of the pants, media hype and feelings, mean nothing. What you’re providing is anecdotal information. Show me the dynamometer proof of what you’re claiming.🫵
You’re not going to get 10-15 whp from an exhaust swap, nor a CAI alone. Add DP’s and a FMIC and you’ll see an honest 35-50 whp with the proper ambient conditions, without a tune.
The whp doesn’t come from the exhaust but the tune, with properly adjusted fuel tables and increases in torque and boost limiters. Without a tune, zero!
A Rolex won’t tell time any better than a computer or a Seiko watch, but there are those who believe it will because it costs considerably more.
Doesn’t make it any better because it has a name. I can name a dozen exhaust manufactures, who make a better quality exhaust for considerable less. They’re on the way as well and it only takes some patience………….
https://www.milltekcorp.com/ranger-raptor-3.0-v6-twin-turbo/c2617. Get your facts straight; $1,949.05$ on sale. 2293.00 - 2713.00.
I have my fingers crossed they do this for a Ranger Raptor R. Id be all over it.I know I would place an order tomorrow if Ford ever offered even a simple 5.0L NA V8 engine in a RR.
Guys @cc1999 @HyperM3 , just hang on. I know for a fact, with just bigger turbos on the current RR, with no other modifications whatsoever that the truck puts down 500rwhp & 550ftlb torque. That’s the same dyno numbers a stock 23 model Raptor R made on the dyno. And just for fun removed the stock air filter and it immediately picked up almost 40 more whp.I have my fingers crossed they do this for a Ranger Raptor R. Id be all over it.
Oh trust me, I get it. I already have a BMC filter and BOV on it and attempted a JB4 but it didnt work out(waiting for a real tune). Also have an intercooler on order with plans of some sort of turbo back exhaust.Guys @cc1999 @HyperM3 , just hang on. The trucks you have are bad!
You can have a daily driver safely over 600rwhp.
if you see what they are doing/getting outta the Explorer ST, there’s more potential in the rr.
From the factory it has smaller turbos but an R code engine that has a higher compression 10.5.1 than the ST 9.5.1 C code. If sound is the issue, they make those exhaust things that have external speakersthat you can make it sound like a coyote motor or a Ferrari or a jet engine whatever you want. Don’t give up on the little brother
.
My wife loves hers, we just ordered urban kit for it, and then they came out with the Octa, trying to find one of those under $200kWell, for me after selling my TRX last month, I Kida sort was missing that supercharged V8, I am getting my wish with swapping my Bronco out for a V8 version or rather a distant cousin to it anyway.
Bought a new 5.0L supercharged 2 dr Defender this morning.
I know Ford sold Land Rover and Jag, but sure seems like there is still some Ford influence.
I have really been curious if the 5.0L V8 they use the Jags and Land Rovers isn't a coyote, or modified version of it.

This is exactly why I did a 5 year ceramic coat, and not my normal 9 year haha. There is a LOT of room in that engine bay relatively speaking, almost like it’s already been engineered for a V8 down the line. Why tuck that washer bottle in the well like that?! I imagine they do it, and I’d 100% make the change, as much as I love my RR as is…no replacement for displacement!I have my fingers crossed they do this for a Ranger Raptor R. Id be all over it.
