New Ranger 2.7 l ordered still in production

We ordered a 2024 Ford Ranger 2.7l and has had a status of in production since last week. Does anyone know how long the have been taking?

Hi. There have been a few threads on this topic. It sounds like it can be all over the place based on many factors. It is best to just be patient and wait for an update on the Ford Tracking page. I can provide my personal experience if that helps set your mind at ease. Build week was 8/26/24. According to the tracker, it went into "production" before the 26th--perhaps that is pre-production? Then, the tracker switched to "in Production" on 9/1/24 and "Built on 9/3/24. It did go back and forth to "order confirmed" between these dates for some reason. Then, suddenly, it said "Shipped" with an ETA delivery date. All in all, it took about 2 weeks from start to finish/shipped. Again, its best to be patient and not rely on others' experiences, or trust the Ford Tracking site.

My Lariat said "In production" and then I got an email that it had been finished and it showed up at the dealers before any additional emails were received. It was in the production status for about a week and a half.

Thank you! Ours has been in production 2 weeks and stil nothing. We ordered early July.
