Here is simple bolt on solution - reviews are good and most say it doesn't extended from past the rear bumper of the truck: https://realtruck.com/p/dee-zee-bumper-step/dez-dz6206s/?msclkid=36fc0767287e13e499f26eec60500d66
Ya, saw that one. I wanted one that tucks under when not in use. Have a friend who works at a metal fabrication shop. Thinking of buying 11ga steel plate and angle iron, having him bend into needed dimensions and drill/tab so I can make my own bolt on kit. Then will get any step and have the holes that match it drilled and tapped as well. Just didnt want to do that entire route. But thanks!
