new warning on display

Hello, today I used my Ford Pass to remote start our 2024 Ranger STX. When I inserted the key, I saw three new messages appear on the small, instrument panel display; Anti-Brake Fault, Hill Start Assist Warning and Pre-collision Assist not working. I have never seen these before.

Reading further on Ford Pass, it says:

"The Anti-Lock Brake system has detected a fault and is disabled"

"The Hill Start Assist System has detected a fault"

"The Collision Warning system has detected a system fault or an obstructed radar sensor"

I just went out and started the truck again with the key and no such warning appeared then. Any idea about what this means?

it says its for 2025 models from January to may 2025 I believe, but I think those are the same lights that illuminate

Yes for now it’s only 2025 models between a set manufacturing period. could have just been a fluke one time illumination on the cluster.

Sometimes when I turn on my truck some errors show up, like front collision detection disabled, or parking sensors disabled, but almost at the same time they are working (no icon error is shown on the panel ). I read that sometimes the sensors are dirty or not detected at the very beginning of the turn on process. Basically there is no issue other than the initial message. It also happens if you have direct sunlight hitting the front radar

my stx pops that collision alert with the red exclamation point sometimes driving into the sun. my old truck, the 2017 titan used to do that too. i think they are blinded by the sunlight like we are, ha ha ha
