Hello Forum, all,
Quick question I hope. Are there any recommendations for new hobbyist in the surrounding area that a stock 4x4 Ranger (XLT and Raptor) could go on a day trip? I am wondering if I am searching on the wrong keywords. I was looking for fire watch towers but some that I found the video/content had some rock crawling that I would like to avoid.
I found Noonchester, Genoa, and Graegle but not sure as the content I saw was being driven by a Jeep. Just looking to escape the city for a day, get some fresh air, have some lunch, walk the dog, etc. Not for camping but would like to be able to stay a couple hours to get some star gazing and camera work. That is what made me think of cell or fire towers since they typically have dirt roads. I also saw some drives on the Pony Express but I couldn't catch the coordinates. Not sure I want to get sage brush markings on a new truck
Daughter would really like to get out as well so planning when the weather gets nicer and snow melts.
I think this is the subforum to read / get educated on. Thanks in advance.
