I don't see many examples of one-inch lifts on the Ranger. Not really a lift guy, so I wanted an in-between that preserved some rake while making the truck look better. Dealer wanted ~$700 + $100 alignment (gonna let them do that) to install, so I just did it, took about 4.5 hrs which was the dealer's stated hours on their quote. Figure they were overcharging some since I did it on the ground with basic tools versus what they would have.

I used the technique where I disconnected the tie rod, sway bar link, and upper control arm from the knuckle to remove the strut assembly. I didn't need to disconnect the CV axles. Used bungees and extra care to remove strut to avoid accidentally dislodging the CVs.
