Planted seat brackets

I've just dropped off my Ranger at the www.plantedtechnology.com shop for driver and passenger seat bracket scan and fabrication.
Check back in few days, or a week to see options available for P703 Ranger.
Scheel Man Sportline R seats are amazing! I consider swapping seats in the near future.

Interesting product. But I see no mention of airbags. I wouldn't want to give those up.

The factory seats don’t have airbags in them either.

US models do.

You have to make sure the seat cover is vehicle specific year, make and model.
Not sure what the legalities are removing a seat with air bags and replacing it with non air bag seat.
I sure it would throw up a red flag in the computer system.
Maybe it can be turned off with Forscan? Not sure.

I think most of the quality seat covers say "airbag compatible".

Built-in driver and passenger seat airbag is called thorax air bag - per Ford lingo.

Planted seat brackets allow you to install aftermarket seats of your choice. I've found Scheel Man seats are incredibly comfortable. 425Motorsports has a large selection on display to try. I know modern technology has made people paranoid about safety. However, I feel safer driving a small pick up truck at reasonable speeds, exercising defensive driving techniques, than driving a small small car among behemoths modern full size SUV and trucks have become!
The comfort of my posterior is paramount.

Hence the effort to give myself and others a choice to change seating arrangements...

I don't expect appreciation for efforts I've put in.
