Happy Dec. 29th peeps.....TODAY marks the 2 month mark since I ordered & PAID for the @Diode Dynamics SSC1 Yellow Fogs directly from their website......yep they took my $$ right away and at the time it said they were backordered and would ship within 1-2 weeks....HAHA...hardly!!

I waited and waited and waited and heard NOTHING from @Diode Dynamics.....called them and they said "we're sorry it's taking longer then expected and it should be a couple more weeks......at that same time the price had dropped on their website and I asked for the lower price......which they did credit my account $60.00......which is great but still no yellow fogs.

All I want is to have some yellow fogs that will fit the factory location without modification so I can have good quality yellow fogs instead of the oem white "driving lights/fog".

To make me more angry, other peeps on here have ordered AFTER me and have received them and installed them already....WTH?!!

I cancelled. Saw a few write ups and wasn’t impressed. It’s a small space but I different bezel would fit an SS3. So I’ll wait.

Yes, I've called 3 times.....same answer every time......."we're sorry.......but you can expect them in a couple weeks".......how about NOT posting stuff on your website that isn't available?!!.....I doubt it is "backordered"......it's probably a manufacturing issue.....again, stop selling stuff you don't have and especially taking peoples hard earned $$$ and giving them nothing in return!!

2 months to wait is truly unacceptable!!

Unlike some other manufacturers who import products in bulk from overseas, we take pride in designing, engineering, and assembling all of our products in-house, with raw components sourced.

We’ve seen your posts on social media rocking our SS3 fog light kit on your previous Ranger and the SS6 kit as well. We truly hope those positive experiences with our products have an impact on your understanding of the situation and the care we put into each of our designs.

Being a leader in U.S. manufacturing in the lighting industry does present some challenges, but we're grateful for the patience and support from customers like you who rock Diode Dynamics. We are constantly working to improve our processes, including lead and wait times, as we move into 2025.

That said, if you're dissatisfied with the wait time, you're welcome to cancel your order at any time. We understand your frustration, and we’re committed to providing a great experience for all our customers.

Im at a month now for my order. It did say 6-8 weeks shipping time when I ordered, so I knew what I was getting into. That being said, its been extremely foggy lately where I live and could have really used the yellow lights.

First, let me say that I'm NOT going to get into an unnecessary debate with a social media person who may or may not be directly involved in the inner workings of a company they represent......but this situation has snowballed BECAUSE OF THE ACTIONS (OR LACK THEREOF) FROM @Diode Dynamics!

Yes I have used your product in the past and was happy with the result & yes I posted a VERY positive review on my social media and that product held up great....(thanks for creeping on my social media BTW)

Fast forward to now and I've ordered again because I have TRUST in your company......but an 8 week wait AFTER taking my $$ is unacceptable and surely you can understand my frustration......I just wish your company was upfront from the beginning and said it was 8+ weeks instead of 1-2 weeks like the receipt of the order from you said. (#1 So I feel you mislead me with the wait time from the beginning, see attached screenshot of my order)

#2) Lack of ANY communication from your end.....how about an automated reply to the people with PAID ORDERS saying there is a delay instead of making us wait with ZERO communication from your company. If you are a "leader in US manufacturing" how about investing a few $$$ in decent software that indicates if a customer has waited more then a few weeks and sending out an automated e-mail explaining there is still a delay so AT LEAST WE HAVE SOME KIND OF INFO! You have our info along with shipping address & email address so an automated email shouldn't be that hard! You are quick to reply here when someone isn't happy but shame on your company for having to make ME call you every couple weeks for an update for a paid order that hasn't shipped.

#3) Other forum members have indicated that they RECEIVED THEIR EXACT SAME PRODUCT WITH A WEEK OR SO of ordering instead of waiting 8 weeks like your website now says. This feels like rubbing salt in a wound....how did they get their orders so quick and not mine?!...Did my order fall through the cracks?! I called @RealTruck and unfortunately they ship directly from you and they didn't have any on the ground to ship to me......same goes with just about every company I called......NOT IN STOCK anywhere......and trust me, I spend hours & hours calling at least 50 different companies with an online presence.....nothing to be had anywhere.

#4) What is sad is thus far these are the ONLY OEM replacement game in town so I'm "stuck" with @Diode Dynamics if I want YELLOW fogs that are an exact replacement & are plug and play.....I'm going the reach out to @Baja Designs after the 1st of the year and beg them to use my 2024 Ranger Raptor as a test test for them to bring another option to market ASAP!

#5) I highly recommend that if the wait is going to take OVER 2 MONTHS then stop taking orders & peoples $$$$ until they're in stock!!......make your website have a function that will take peoples info who are interested then actually contact them when they're in stock......that way you don't hold their $$$ hostage for months.

#6) BECOME A VENDOR here!....Once I tagged you I got an actual reply which is more then I ever received from emailing your company! I called 3 times and got the same answer every time...."It will be another week or 2"......how much more running around from you guys am I going to get??!

#7) I'm posting this info to share my experience with fellow Ford Ranger enthusiasts who are probably interested in your product and want to see and hear other peoples experiences before they order your product. Like I said before, I was happy with the actual product on my last Ford Ranger but thus far the customer service is sub par......what happens if I have a problem with the actual product?.....am I going to have an incredible hard time getting is fixed as I am with actually getting it shipping and in my hands??

#8) NO I'm NOT going to cancel my order.....I've already waiting 8 weeks......according to YOUR CURRENT WEBSITE VERBAGE it should ship any day now!!......we'll see & you know I'll keep everyone posted......

Yep it says 8 weeks NOW but back when I ordered 8 weeks ago it said 1-2 weeks.....I updated my post with a copy of my receipt with the date and estimated date of delivery......and YES, super foggy these days here in SO CA.....lots of delayed flights yesterday out of LAX due to the fog.....yellow fogs would help!

no one is forcing you to read it......thanks for your 2 cents......just trying to let fellow Ranger enthusiasts know my experience and they can judge for themselves which direction to follow....they have a great product based on my last purchase......trying to see how they handle this ongoing situation.

Not being rude just frustrated.......if I'm doing too much I guess the moderators will say so.....

(When I ordered the estimated wait was 1-2 weeks....then changed to 8 weeks)......but actually took 11 weeks.....pathetic!!

Faster than my Husky Mudflaps....took 4 months. Shipping to Canada is a bitch.
